About The Role

Job Purpose: To provide strong leadership and guidance to the PSV Operations Managers and tyre technicians who are responsible for delivering a quality service to Bridgestone PSV customers. Build strong relationships with Engineering Directors & Chief Engineers. Ensure contractual compliance, with profitability of accounts without affecting safety and customer focus. Have a high focus on H&S with regards the Bridgestone field operatives and customers workshops. Control stock inventory and fleet parks impacting the “stock valuation reporting” and fleet profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • CUSTOMER FOCUSED: Maintain the relationship with the senior & middle management in all PSV fleets in the areas of responsibility to include Monthly ED Contact, Quarterly ED & Additional Management Formal Review. Ensure smooth implementation of new contracts – staff/equipment/contacts etc – with support of line manager. To always ensure that we exceed customer expectations.
  • COST TO SERVE: Ensure all KPIs for the direct reports are achieved in the region with particular focus on Depot Audits, Damage Tyres, Engineering Meetings, Revenue Capture, Stock Control, Budgeted consignment tyre fitments.
  • GREAT PLACE TO WORK: Personnel Supervision, Support in the recruitment of new recruits, Secondary point of contact on disciplinary issues, Maintain process for directs through success factors, Ensure a high focus on H&S for technicians & customers.
  • FINANCIAL: Review P&L with Line Manager, identify variances and agree improvement steps, Agree budgets with Finance and Line Manager, Constant focus WDGLL with customer focus.
