We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading infrastructure contractor for an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of a key terminal pumping station project as part of a major Thames Water infrastructure scheme. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract on a permanent salary, offering the stability of PAYE employment while working on a high‑profile, technically complex project.
The Role
As Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and supporting the delivery of multidisciplinary works, acting as the technical and organisational link between design teams, site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
The scope of works includes:
- Tunnelling and shaft construction
- Civils and structural works
- Gravity sewers and drainage
- Pipe installation and structural plinths
- Section 278 highways works (roads, access, reinstatement)
- MEICA systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control)
