We are working in partnership with a leading international engineering and construction specialist to recruit an experienced EHS Advisor to support a strong pipeline of projects across South Wales. Our client delivers high-quality design and build solutions across a range of sectors including Food, Pharmaceutical, Logistics, Data Centres, and Advanced Manufacturing. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of health and safety policies across live construction sites.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and company standards.
  • Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and reporting, providing feedback to senior project stakeholders.
  • Track and ensure close-out of actions identified in safety reports within agreed timescales.
  • Support and guide site teams, promoting a strong safety culture across all levels.
  • Assist with accident investigations and ensure timely and thorough reporting.
  • Oversee site inductions for operatives and subcontractors.
  • Ensure welfare facilities, site setups, and statutory notices meet required standards.
  • Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Monitor permits to work and safe handling/storage of COSHH materials.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience working within a construction environment in an EHS-focused role.
  • Relevant EHS qualification (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of current health and safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Well-organised with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure project environments.
