Bridgetaff Group are working with a leading Construction business that are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team on an up and coming major high‑rise residential development in Swansea. This is a permanent opportunity to play a key role in delivering a flagship project, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality site operations.
You’ll be responsible for day‑to‑day site coordination, subcontractor supervision, quality assurance, and ensuring all works meet the highest standards of fire safety and fire‑stopping compliance, a critical requirement for this project.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager with daily site operations and reporting
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site labour
- Ensure all works comply with building regulations, fire‑stopping requirements and project specifications
- Oversee site safety, inductions, RAMS and toolbox talks
- Monitor progress, quality and programme milestones
- Maintain site records, permits and documentation
- Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers as required
- Drive a positive, safe and productive site culture
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on high‑rise or multi‑storey construction projects
- Strong understanding of fire‑stopping, compartmentation, and building safety compliance
- Background in residential, commercial or mixed‑use construction
- Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades
- Strong communication and organisational skills

- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – essential
- CSCS Manager’s Card – essential
- First Aid at Work – essential
- Fire Stopping / Passive Fire Protection awareness training – highly desirable
