Bridgestone Group are currently seeking an Estimator to join a growing and well‑established construction specialist based in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Estimator looking to step away from senior responsibility, or a Junior Estimator looking to develop their career within a supportive commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural specifications and construction drawings
- Undertake detailed material take‑offs
- Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and cost breakdowns
- Build up pricing using system schedules and supplier information
- Liaise closely with Main Contractors and supply chain partners
- Support the handover of secured projects to the delivery team
About You
- Previous estimating experience within the construction industry
- Ideally familiar with systems such as Kawneer, Metal Technology, AluProf, or Technal
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Computer‑literate, ideally with experience using Logikal or similar pricing software
- Attention to detail and ability to work across multiple tenders
