Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects, Bridgestaff Group are working with a leading construction business who are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Groundworks & Civil Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and growing business, delivering projects ranging from £50,000 to £3.5 million across the South West. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the highest standards.

The Role

  • Manage multiple Groundworks and Civil Engineering projects from start to completion.
  • Oversee operational delivery, programme performance and project milestones.
  • Work closely with commercial and construction teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers and plant resources.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Interpret technical drawings and project documentation.
  • Monitor project performance, quality, safety and compliance standards.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges proactively.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within construction.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and project management capability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
