Internal Sales & Administration Team Manager
Bradford (Office-based, with occasional customer or site visits)
Permanent £40,000 – £45,000 per annum plus bonus
Bridgestone Group are partnering with a well-established and growing UK manufacturing business operating within the architectural and construction supply chain, to appoint an Internal Sales & Administration Team Manager. This is a critical leadership role within the commercial function, offering end-to-end ownership of internal sales operations, customer engagement, and team performance. The successful candidate will act as the primary internal commercial lead for customers, particularly key accounts, while driving profitability, service excellence and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Sales & Team Leadership
- Lead, manage and develop the internal sales, estimating and sales administration teams
- Oversee daily sales operations and internal customer support activity
- Drive improvements in quote-to-order conversion and commercial performance
- Customer & Account Management
- Manage customer relationships from onboarding through to order completion
- Work closely with finance teams on credit limits and payment performance
- Take ownership of customer satisfaction, managing escalations and resolving issues effectively
- Commercial Performance & Reporting
- Monitor sales performance against budget and growth targets
- Define, track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Support delivery of a minimum 3% year-on-year business growth
- Processes, Compliance & Systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant product regulations and industry standards
- Review, improve and implement internal policies and procedures
- Support the development and optimisation of CRM and sales systems
- People Development
- Coach and mentor team members, supporting performance and professional growth
- Build commercial awareness and technical understanding across the team
- Embed consistent best practice and high service standards

- Support business development across new and existing customers

- Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Experience with sales order processing and commercial workflows
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within the glass industry or a closely related manufacturing or technical sector
- Strong technical understanding with an ability to support team development
