Quantity Surveyor Permanent Bridgestaff Group are working in partnership with a leading construction business, and due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Groundworks & Civils team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a progressive and expanding business, working on a diverse range of projects valued between £50,000 and £3.5 million across the South West. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial performance of projects from inception through to final account, ensuring profitability and strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Manage all commercial aspects of projects from start through to final account. Prepare applications for payment and financial reporting documentation. Price, assess and manage project variations. Negotiate subcontractor accounts and agree client final accounts. Monitor project cash flow and retention payments. Work closely with site teams, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery. Support the commercial team in maintaining project profitability and contractual compliance Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry. Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills. Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and project specifications. Experience within Groundworks and/or Civil Engineering projects. Competitive salary dependent on experience. Career development and progression opportunities.
