Bridges are currently looking to expand our Inspection and Testing team to work across Water and Wastewater sites across the south east of England. At Bridges we are more than Engineers. Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.

The Role

You will be working as part of our fixed electrical testing team ensuring electrical compliance on our customers' sites predominantly within the water industry. Day to day you will be mobile visiting sites around the East and South East (Crawley, Sevenoaks, Barking, Croydon and into SE & NE London, occasional travel into the Thames Valley). You will be contracted to 40hrs per week on site hours Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime and travel paid door to door. You will be carrying out testing and inspection of electrical installations and producing detailed reports including any rectification works required.

Company van and fuel card will be provided with this role.

You will also be provided with all the tools, testing equipment and PPE required to carry out this role, as well as a Tablet / Laptop and phone.

  • ECS Gold Card (essential)
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 (essential)
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical installation (essential)
  • Full UK driving license (essential)

  • PASMA / IPAF
  • EUSR Water Hygiene
  • Thames Water Passport
