Overview
Role: Electrical Installer – Telemetry & Control Panels (Thames Water region). Covering the Thames Valley area for Thames Water, this role modifies control panels and telemetry equipment at various sites, including telemetry outstation replacements and multi-smart systems.
Contract type: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Paid hourly with overtime paid. Travel time paid door to door. Overtime on weekends paid at an inflated rate. Company van provided.
Responsibilities
- Complete electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and project safety requirements
- Install to the highest standards in line with the project quality plan and inspection and test plans
- Follow and promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and stop work if unsafe conditions arise
- Demonstrate Bridges values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients
- Coach and mentor Electrical Improvers and Apprentices
Requirements
- ECS Gold Card (essential)
- Telemetry outstation replacements or MultiSmart systems experience
- Panel wiring/modifications experience
- Experience within Industrial environments (ideally water)
- Fitness to work medical
- Positive attitude towards Health and Safety, follows best practice
- Full UK driving licence

- PASMA / IPAF / Confined space
- EUSR & Thames Water Passport
- Inspection and testing certificate
- Emergency first aid or first aider
- CCNSG (or similar)
