The role involves reviewing tender documentation, including drawings, schedules and specifications, to prepare accurate estimates in line with client requirements. The position is based in either our Swansea or Midsomer Norton office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit sites to undertake tender surveys.
  • Coordinate with clients, suppliers and the project delivery team to develop suitable solutions.
  • Produce accurate quotations, including production of GA drawings, identification of risk, alternative design proposals and value engineering options.
  • Assess contract terms and conditions and identify areas of concern to the commercial team.
  • Provide detailed handovers to the project delivery team.

Requirements

  • Essential
  • Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, fabrication or production sector.
  • Experience of working from client specifications.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Methodical with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills – Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Desirable
  • Experience within the water industry.
