We are recruiting for a Project Manager to work from our Swansea office, from enquiry through to asset integration sign off. With a hybrid working model from the Wales region, there is a mixture of office work and travel for project reviews and to visit client sites regularly.

Our projects range in value from Β£5k to Β£15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.
As a Project Manager at Bridges, you will oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects from inception to completion. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Your leadership will be pivotal in coordinating resources, managing timelines, and navigating challenges to achieve outstanding results.
Responsibilities
- Contracted to 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday
- Management of staff and subcontractors working on assigned projects
- Taking responsibility for the health & safety of self and all under your control, completion of RAMS
- Creation and management of the appropriate Project Documentation and control of project expenditure within a monthly project reporting structure
- Close liaison and management of the Client and other stakeholders as appropriate
- Proactively manage the impact on and protection of the environment
Requirements
Essential
- Proven project management experience in an industrial M&E / MEICA environment
- Experience in managing Engineering projects ideally within the water industry (water and/or wastewater process projects)
- Strong understanding of project planning, monitoring, and control methodologies
- Proficiency with project planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)
- Sound knowledge of health & safety legislation and company-specific procedures
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working with NEC suite of contracts
Desirable
- Relevant City & Guilds qualification or equivalent in a technical/trade discipline
- Valid SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely certification
