Role PurposeDue to our increasing workload for AMP , we are looking for an additional project planner to join us on a full‐time permanent basis. The role will predominantly be working within the Water Industry, however you will also get exposure to some other key partners. This is contracted to 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, with flexible working available to be discussed with the line manager. We offer a hybrid working model: three days in the office and two days at home. There is an opportunity to travel to sites on a monthly basis, where some of your work‐from‐office days will be spent on construction sites. Ideally based from our Midsomer Norton office, but Thames Valley or Southern locations also considered.

Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders, improving processes and working practices.
Share knowledge and mentor less experienced colleagues.
Gather information from multiple documents and stakeholders to develop detailed, contractually compliant project schedules.
Set robust baselines to support change management and variance reporting.
Coordinate monthly updates from the project teams, including subcontractors/suppliers.
Lead collaborative meetings with the client, subcontractors and project teams.
Support in the identification and mitigation of risks.
Produce detailed schedule narratives to support client review and acceptance of contractual programmes.
Work with estimating and commercial teams to support tender submissions and project initiation.
Report project performance to key stakeholders.
RequirementsEssential
Familiarity with NEC 3 and NEC 4 contracts.
Construction planning experience, using P6 and MS Project.
Excellent communication and comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team.
Sound understanding of project management principles and the ability to drive best practice.
Sound understanding of design and construction sequencing.
Desirable
Water/utilities industry experience.
M&E engineering.
APM project management qualification (or similar).
