The predicted salary is between 18000 - 25000 £ per year.

As part of our Apprentice intake for 2026, we are recruiting Electrical Apprentices to work within our Delivery teams in the following regions: Thames Valley (Reading Area), Portsmouth Region, and Maidstone region. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the engineering industry.

As an Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced engineers, assisting in electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance across client sites. You will receive on‑the‑job training and support to develop your electrical engineering skills and knowledge. Contracted to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid. The role is field‑based and you will be paid travel time door‑to‑door. All college days will be conducted at the Bridges HQ in Midsomer Norton and you will operate under a block release schedule at Bath College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Follow health and safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
  • Strong interest in electrical engineering
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • GCSEs in Maths, English and Science (grade 4/C or higher)
  • Age 18 or older
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (required to travel to sites)
Desirable:
  • Previous work experience or education related to engineering
  • Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in mechanical work
