We are currently hiring for a Document Controller to work from our Crowborough Office. This role will be working on our SEMD projects.

The Role:

  • 40hrs a week Monday - Friday, we are open to considering Part-time applicants who can commit to a minimum of 25hrs a week.
  • This role is hybrid with an expectation of 2/3 days a week from our Crowborough office.
  • Ensure all documents and designs are stored in the correct locations across internal and external file-sharing platforms.
  • Ensure all documents are listed on the document & drawing registers and all superseded documents are archived accordingly.
  • Ensure all relevant documents are distributed to the relevant persons/parties as instructed.
  • Prepare and circulate notifications on CEMAR as instructed by the Bridges PM.
  • Assist Project Managers with project expenditure, and the creation and management of Project Documentation & governance.

Requirements:

  • Essential: Proven experience as a Document Controller in the construction, engineering, Defence or water industry.
  • Strong knowledge of document management systems and software (e.g., SharePoint, CEMAR).
  • Desirable: Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Certification in document control is a plus.
  • Due to the security requirements of this role, candidates must be a UK national and must have been a continuous resident in the United Kingdom for at least the last 5 years.
