The Role

Working 40hrs a week Monday - Friday. To collaboratively provide accurate and consistent designs that are delivered within budgets and to agreed timescales. To collaboratively work with other disciplines to provide supporting project documentation. To ensure project materials such control panel components, steelwork and mounting plates are ordered in time to meet the programme’s needs for manufacturing. To support the workshop staff during the manufacturing phase, ensuring wireman are working to the latest designs, have accurate parts lists and final solutions are compliant and in line with our designs. We are happy to consider Remote Working for this role, we also have a number of offices we are happy for people to work out of also Hybrid.

Role Purpose

To gain client requirements and creating specifications for projects; creating solutions. To work alongside the Project Manager and Design Manager to ensure that the designs of projects are running to client requirements, and are compliant with regulations. To produce designs in accordance with the design specification through technical innovation. To ensure the integrity of the design through:

  • Technical design calculations
  • Material research and awareness of modern production techniques
  • Cost effectiveness

To produce all necessary production and assembly drawings, using 2D drawing CAD system. To be aware of the necessary standards relating to the environment. To undertake site and client visits as required. To communicate accurately with other stakeholders throughout the project from concept through to completion. To liaise with the end client to ensure that they have a full understanding of the progress of the project.

  • Experience with PLCs
  • Experience with instrumentation
  • Desirable Experience in the Water and Waste Water Industry
