Due to continued growth throughout AMP8, Bridges will be continually hiring approved electricians to work on our water industry projects across the Hampshire and Southern areas. Across our key sectors – Water, Power, Energy and Aggregates, and supported through our regional office network and our manufacturing hub located in the heart of Somerset, we deliver diverse and interesting projects and programmes throughout UK infrastructure. Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.
This is a permanent opportunity. Contracted to 40 hours per week on-site hours Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid. Paid for all travel time door to door. This role will involve working as a team of electricians on many industrial and water industry programmes of work, with travel across the Hampshire and Southern areas.
Essential:
- ECS gold card (essential)
- Experience as an Electrician or electrical improver
- Able to manage own workload
- Fitness to work medical (can be completed upon commencement of employment)
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- EUSR water hygiene
- Thames water passport
- Inspection and testing medical
- PASMA / IPAF / Confined space
- COMPEX
- Industrial and/or panel wiring experience
