Bridges is looking for a Project Coordinator to work on our Southern Water Framework, delivering planned and reactive engineering projects on water and wastewater sites. This role will bring value to the team through the support of Project Managers in the delivery of their projects across the region.

The Role

This is a hybrid role with 4 days in the office and 1 day at home (although client meetings take precedence). The first few weeks will be in the office full-time until you are ready to take ownership of your work. You will be located within a commutable distance to our Lakeside (North Harbour) Portsmouth Office. This premise boasts a wider list of employee perks and office comforts. The role will include travel to and from client sites.

  • Active support on management of Client handover and takeover processes and documentation for your project management colleagues – with specialist consultant and the project management team.
  • Printing and creating site filing and governance for the site delivery personnel on sites.
  • Attending to reactive calls outs, ensuring key personnel are notified and works are resourced and coordinated by others.
  • Assisting the commercial teams by providing key documentation and references for new orders and variations.
  • Ensuring the office is well stocked and duties are actioned for maintenance and cleaning.
  • Booking in accommodation and travel for the teams.
  • Assist Project Managers with project expenditure, and the creation and management of Project Documentation and governance.
  • Ensuring labour resources for the region are actively kept in check.
  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage the impact on and protection of the environment.

Requirements

  • Essential: Experience in using planning software such as Microsoft Project. Ability to analyse project performance and produce project reports.
  • Desirable: Full UK Driving Licence - driving to client sites might be required occasionally.
