As part of our Apprentice intake for 2026, we are looking to recruit a Mechanical Apprentice to work within our Delivery teams. The following opportunities are available in the following regions: 1 x Wales, 2 x South West, 3 x Southern. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the engineering industry.
The Role
As an Apprentice, you will be working alongside a team of experienced engineers, assisting in electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance across various client sites. You will receive on-job training and support to develop your skills and knowledge in electrical engineering. Contracted to 40hrs per week Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid. This is a field-based role. You will be paid your travel time door to door.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in mechanical installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Learning how to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Following health and safety procedures and wearing personal protective equipment
- Communicating effectively with team members and clients
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Please note that we do not have a training provider for this role yet, and we will source this once we have employed a candidate. The training provider we use will be dependent on the level of experience and qualifications of the candidate.

- GCSEs in Maths, English and Science (grade 4/C or higher)
- Due to the nature of the work we complete, you must be 18+ years old
- You will sometimes be required to get to site on your own, so a full UK driving license and your own vehicle is necessary.

- Previous work experience or education related to engineering
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in mechanical work.
