The Role Working 40hrs a week Monday - Friday.
The role involves collaborating with other disciplines to provide accurate and consistent designs, ensuring project materials such as control panel components, steelwork and mounting plates are ordered on time for manufacturing, supporting workshop staff during the manufacturing phase, and ensuring all designs and solutions are compliant with the latest standards.
Remote working or hybrid office locations are available.
Role Purpose To gain client requirements and create specifications for projects; creating solutions.
To work alongside the Project Manager and Design Manager to ensure the designs of projects are aligned with client requirements and are compliant with regulations.
To produce designs in accordance with the design specification through technical innovation.
To ensure the integrity of the design through: Technical design calculations.
Material research and awareness of modern production techniques.
Cost effectiveness.
To produce all necessary production and assembly drawings, using 2D CAD system.
To be aware of the necessary standards relating to the environment.
To undertake site and client visits as required.
To communicate accurately with other stakeholders throughout the project from concept through to completion.
To liaise with the end client to ensure that they have a full understanding of the progress of the project.
Essential Qualifications Experience with control systems.
Experience with electrical drawing software.
Experience with LV switchgear.
Experience with PLCs.
Experience with instrumentation.
Desirable Qualifications Experience in the Water and Waste Water Industry.
