Bridges have been supporting the water industry will all aspects of electrical compliance and safety, we are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our dynamic team, the ideal candidate will have aJIB gold card, C&G 2391 or equivalent and validdriving licence, as this is a client-facing role the candidate must possessexcellent interpersonal skills.

The Role
As a fixed electrical testing electrician you will specialize in inspecting and testing, fault diagnosis and rectification work.
You will be working within our fixed electrical testing team travelling to client sites across the Thames water region, Primarily in the Thames valley area, you will be carrying out fault diagnosis and rectification work as well as carrying out electrical condition reports.
Primary duties will include:
- Carrying out rectification of reported electrical defects
- Carrying out fault diagnosis on a wide range of equipment following inspection and testing.
- Offering ideas for solutions, repairs and workarounds.
- Ordering materials and liaising with procurement to ensure that the correct materials are on site when required.
- Ensure a high standard of workmanship and that work is completed right the first time.
- Inspection & testing of industrial installations to ensure safety and compliance.
- Inspecting electrical systems, checking for any signs of damage, wear, or deterioration in the electrical installation.
- Identifying defects and producing detailed reports.
Contracted to 40hrs per week Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid.
This is a field-based role. You will be paid your travel time door to door, Company van provided.
Requirements
· ECS gold card (essential)
· City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)
· NVQ level 3 electrical installation (or equivalent)
· Good IT skills.
· Full UK driving licence
· Experience with industrial electrical installations.
Desirable
· PASMA / IPAF
· City and Guilds 2377
· Industrial and/or panel wiring experience.
