The predicted salary is between 40500 - 49500 £ per year.
To oversee and manage a team of electricians on a number of programmes of work to be completed across the South West region.
This is a permanent job role, contracted to 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid. You will be paid your travel time door to door, on top of your contracted and overtime hours. A company van is provided, with a fuel card issued.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
- Ensuring that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project’s quality plan and inspection and test plans.
- Following and actively promoting the STAR dynamic risk assessment and being empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise.
- Coaching and mentoring Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates, and Apprentices.
- Promoting and demonstrating the Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers, and clients.
- Promoting positive health and well-being amongst peers.
- Acting in a professional manner and being an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company’s positive reputation.
Essential qualifications include:
- ECS gold card (essential).
- SSSTS / SMSTS (essential).
- Experience as an Electrical Supervisor, site managing electrical projects.
- Experience within water / heavy industrial industries.
- Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification.
- Fit to work medical (can be completed upon starting employment).
Desirable qualifications include:
- PASMA / IPAF.
- Confined space.
- COMPEX.
- EUSR water hygiene.
- Thames water passport.
- Inspection and testing certification.
