As part of our Apprentice intake for 2026, we are looking to recruit a Mechanical Apprentice to work within our Delivery teams. The following opportunities are available in the following regions: 1 x Wales, 2 x South West, 3 x Southern. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the engineering industry.
The Role
As an Apprentice, you will be working alongside a team of experienced engineers, assisting in electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance across various client sites. You will receive on‑job training and support to develop your skills and knowledge in electrical engineering. Contracted to 40hrs per week Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid. This is a field‑based role. You will be paid your travel time door to door.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in mechanical installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Learning how to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Following health and safety procedures and wearing personal protective equipment
- Communicating effectively with team members and clients
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Please note that we do not have a training provider for this role yet, and we will source this once we have employed a candidate. The training provider we use will be dependent on the level of experience and qualifications of the candidate.

- Due to the nature of the work we complete, you must be 18+ years old
- You will sometimes be required to get to site on your own, so a full UK driving license and your own vehicle is necessary.

- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in mechanical work.
