Bridges Communications is a strategic communications consultancy providing reputation management, media relations, content development, stakeholder engagement and growth communications services to ambitious businesses and private capital investors operating in international markets. We work closely with founders, executive teams, investors and growth‑stage companies to build reputation, support commercial growth and strengthen stakeholder relationships.

We are seeking an experienced account handler to lead client relationships, oversee strategic communications programmes and contribute to the continued growth of the agency. This is a role requiring strong international experience, commercial acumen and a proven track record advising clients across private capital and high‑growth sectors.

Role Overview

The individual will serve as a senior strategic advisor to a portfolio of clients, leading integrated communications programmes across multiple markets. The successful candidate will manage senior stakeholder relationships, develop communications strategies, oversee campaign execution and support business development initiatives. The role requires extensive experience working with private capital firms and growth‑stage companies, as well as demonstrated expertise delivering communications programmes across the Middle East and North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor for a portfolio of client accounts.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives, founders, investors and board‑level stakeholders.
  • Lead account planning and ensure communications strategies align with client business objectives.
  • Provide strategic counsel on corporate reputation, media relations, stakeholder engagement, executive profiling and thought leadership.
  • Lead the creation of high‑quality communications materials including press releases, executive commentary, thought leadership content, media briefings, award submissions, website content and investor‑facing communications.
  • Ensure consistently high standards of client service and deliverable quality.
  • Manage media relations programmes and secure high‑quality coverage in relevant business, financial, technology and sector‑specific publications.
  • Support clients through key business milestones including fundraising rounds, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, market expansion and corporate announcements.
  • Support new business development activities, including proposal writing, pitch development and client presentations.
  • Identify opportunities for agency growth within existing and new sectors.
  • Build relationships with journalists, industry influencers, investors and strategic partners.
  • Represent Bridges Communications at conferences, networking events and industry forums.
  • Manage and mentor Account Managers, Account Executives and freelance consultants.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and professional development initiatives.
  • Help Founders to foster a collaborative, commercially focused and high‑performing culture.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 4–7 years' experience in communications.
  • Proven success managing multiple client accounts and complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and account profitability.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within a fast‑paced environment.

The successful candidate must demonstrate substantial experience working with private capital firms as well as founder‑led growth companies particularly in one or more of the following sectors: FinTech and Financial Services, Digital Infrastructure and HealthTech. The successful candidate must also have proven experience managing communications programmes across the Middle East, North America and Europe and understand each regional media landscapes.
