Bridgepark Capital is a rapidly growing specialist Real Estate lender that provides bridge and development finance to individuals, investors, property developers, professional advisors, and intermediaries across England & Wales.
After a period of significant growth, we are seeking a proactive and driven individual with enthusiasm for Real Estate and eagerness to learn the fundamentals of our business from the ground up. This role is crucial as you\’ll work directly with our Financial Controller and Head of Finance to develop our finance function while managing daily financial operations and upholding exceptional reporting standards.
Bridgepark Capital has achieved success by completing over £200m in new loans across a diverse spectrum of borrowers and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Processes relating to movement of cash across the business and to external parties in support of loan completions, drawdowns and redemptions.
- Assisting with preparation of borrower and investor material across varying stages of a transaction.
- Undertaking analysis of our loan book and producing accurate financial calculations relating to interest payments.
- Undertaking daily reconciliations and support with month end accounting procedures as well as responsibility for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Portfolio reviews and reporting.
- Providing additional support to the Financial Controller, Head of Finance and Managing Director.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally within Financial Services. An interest in Property Development is a bonus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant industry experience.
- Progressing towards or holding a recognised accounting qualification.
- Good understanding of core accounting principles, double-entry, journals, and reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent numeracy skills and the ability to identify errors at an early stage.
- A good working knowledge of Xero (or similar) and Excel, with some experience with a CRM system is also desirable.
- Capable of dealing with a high volume of workflow and prioritising accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills. An ability to build and foster relationships with our stakeholders.
