The Governing Body of West Park Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and caring Learning Support Officer and cover supervisor to work in a highly motivated and friendly teaching team.

Our LSOs are a vital part of our classroom teams and many of them also work as Cover Supervisors on a relief basis for part of the week providing classroom cover as required by the school. Therefore, we are particularly interested in candidates who would also be confident and willing to undertake this work when required. The Cover Supervisor Job Description is also included so please include reference to this in your application.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
