Supervisory Assistant - Litchard Primary School

Job description

10 hours per week

Litchard Primary School is seeking to appoint a Supervisory Assistant to work during the lunchtime period, between 11.30am till 1.30pm every day, term time only.

Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will be required to undertake the supervision of the children in all areas of the school, and also supervising and actively engaging pupils in playground games.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with children, and the ability to encourage good behaviour and play amongst pupils would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
  • An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
