We have recently completed a restructure to provide an even wider range of pathways for children who are care experienced. As a result of the restructure, four smaller case management teams have been created and will be underpinned by a strengths based approach within a collaborative and supportive environment. We are currently recruiting for a senior practitioner who will be based within our West Locality Team.
Responsibilities
- Work as a senior practitioner within the West Locality Team and contribute to a continuum of services from early help to intensive provision for families with complex needs.
- Support supervision and create a collaborative, reflective practice environment.
- Support the implementation of the Signs of Safety social work model and participate in ongoing training and development.
- Ensure high quality supervision, wellbeing and career development for staff, with robust induction, regular supervision, and mentoring where required.
- Contribute to furthering career development and promotional opportunities within the service.
Qualifications and requirements
- Experience: 3 years' experience or more in social work or related service.
- Supervisory experience and/or experience at senior practitioner level.
- Welsh language ability is a requirement for this post.
- Enhanced DBS check with Children’s Barred List requirement.
- Valid driving licence is a requirement for this post.
