37 hours per week. Bridgend Early Help are looking for a confident and motivated Deputy Team Manager to play a key role in driving forward our vision for early intervention and prevention. This is an exciting opportunity to support the operational leadership of our Early Help service, working alongside the Service Manager and Senior Early Help Workers to deliver high-quality, impactful support to families.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support across Early Help teams
- Offer guidance, oversight and reflective support to practitioners
- Contribute to the development of a strong, consistent practice model
- Support effective decision-making, including screening and allocation processes
- Drive performance, quality and positive outcomes for children and families
- Help embed a culture of collaboration across Early Help and safeguarding services
Qualifications
- Has strong experience working with children, young people and families
- Demonstrates confident decision-making and professional curiosity
- Is passionate about Early Help and preventative approaches
- Can support and challenge practice to maintain high standards
- Has the ability to build strong relationships across teams and partner agencies
