A unique opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated Team Leader – Communities Directorate Support to lead and develop our Directorate Support Unit, ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality administrative, operational and strategic support across Communities services.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the Directorate Support Unit
  • Support, coach and develop staff performance and wellbeing
  • Oversee complaints, FOI requests and member enquiries
  • Manage communications with councillors, partners and residents
  • Ensure effective business support for meetings, consultations and projects
  • Drive improvements in systems, processes and performance reporting
