A unique opportunity has arisen for a Green Spaces and Bereavement Services Superintendent to lead a team of Grounds People working in the Western area of Bridgend County. The postholder’s focus will be to deliver high quality grounds maintenance, pitch marking, vegetation management, seasonal bedding displays, maintenance of some school grounds plus all aspects of staff management and engagement.

The postholder will excel at promoting a positive and initiative‑taking message to staff, colleagues, and residents alike. The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post. Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees. A valid driving licence is required for this post.
