Contracts Compliance and Monitoring Officer (Temporary)
The Central Grants Team in Bridgend is looking for a well‑motivated individual with experience in contract monitoring and compliance, performance and outcome measurement, and financial management of Early Help services both internal and delivered by third‑sector providers.
This role will involve monitoring contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed performance, outcome and financial targets, tracking financial management of Early Help services, and providing solutions to problems to meet demanding and conflicting deadlines.
Key responsibilities include
- Oversee contract monitoring and compliance of performance, outcomes and financial management for Early Help services.
- Analyse and report on contract performance against key indicators.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third‑sector providers to address compliance issues.
- Prepare compliance documentation and reports for senior management.
- Ensure financial management and adherence to budgetary controls.
Qualifications and experience required
- Demonstrated experience in contract monitoring and compliance within a public sector or non‑profit environment.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage conflicting deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and record‑keeping abilities.
This is a full‑time, fixed‑term position of 37 hours per week, continuing until 31 March 2028.
