Sunny Bank is a trauma informed children's residential setting, providing a stable homely environment for four children and young people from the age of 8 years to 18 years.
This role is to provide high quality administrative assistance, including day to day clerical reconciliations, admin tasks, and financial duties involving internal financial systems. You will be required to be part of the staff team and assist the manager in operating an effective and efficient service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day clerical support, maintain and update electronic files, administer the petty cash system, and prepare monthly reimbursement claims (training will be provided).
- Use Excel to manage databases, undertake general clerical duties including answering telephone calls, photocopying, checking and ordering supplies, and attending staff meetings to complete the minutes.
- Process invoices for payment on the BCBC online system; full training is provided for all our online systems.

Requirements:
- A good standard of education equivalent to QCF (NVQ) Level 2 or an ability to demonstrate competence through experience.
- Experience working within an office environment is essential, along with experience of implementing administration practices and procedures.
- The ability to greet customers through Welsh is a requirement for this post.
- Protecting children, young people, or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
- Enhanced Children and Adults Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
