The Early Years and Childcare Team is seeking to recruit an experienced, positive and pro-active administrator to join our large and friendly team. To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised individual who takes pride in providing a professional and efficient service. You will be conversant in the use of Microsoft applications, and willing to be trained in the use of all systems used within the service.
Working under the supervision of the Business Process Co-Ordinator, you will carry out a wide range of duties to provide clerical and administrative services to support the delivery of Early Years and Flying Start in Bridgend. The role is based at the Integrated Children’s Centre in North Cornelly with occasional cover and attendance at meetings required at other sites across the county borough. A valid driving licence and use of a car are required for this post.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post. Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees. An Enhanced with Children’s Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure is required.
