Introduction
A committed, caring, and flexible Personal Assistant is required to support a 11 year old girl who has learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. However, would benefit with support from someone whiling to build a friendship, encourage and take her out into the community to enjoy the clubs and activities she enjoys.
Main Duties
- Support and encourage her with activities in the community, such as football, cinema and horse riding
- Support and encourage to try new activities and skills to improve his confidence and abilities.
- Ensure her safety at all times during your working period.
- Become a friend and engage in conversations.
- Local to the area would be beneficial
- Previous PA experience with children with learning difficulties and behavioural difficulties is preferable
Person Specification
- Knowledge/experience with challenging behaviour
- Active and energetic
- Proactive individual with local knowledge.
- Caring, honest, responsible, and patient.
- Flexibility around hours of work
- Reliable with good time keeping.

A full driving license and use of a car is required. You must have business use on your insurance to be able to use the vehicle within work hours.
