Bridgeman Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Banksman / Traffic Marshal to join a busy construction project in Widnes.
Working for a reputable contractor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe movement of vehicles, plant, and personnel around site while maintaining high health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely guide and direct site traffic, delivery vehicles, and mobile plant.
- Maintain clear communication with drivers and plant operators using recognised hand signals and/or radio communication.
- Ensure pedestrian and vehicle segregation is maintained at all times.
- Coordinate site deliveries and manage access and egress points.
- Assist with site logistics and support the site management team.
- Monitor site traffic movements and report any hazards or safety concerns.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with site health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksman qualification.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Previous experience working as a Banksman on construction or civil engineering projects.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to site safety.
- Full PPE.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
