Supplier Quality Engineer

Supplier Quality Engineer – Manufacturing Join a global leader in fluid-flow technology with facilities across four continents. This role supports supplier quality and continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead supplier audits (initial, process, surveillance) aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 3834, and PED standards. Qualify and onboard suppliers through capability assessments. Monitor supplier certifications and performance. Drive corrective actions (8D), root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives. Review technical documents (e.g. weld procedures, inspection reports, material certs). Support product validation (e.g. PPAP, FAIR). Promote lean practices and defect reduction. Requirements: Degree in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering-related field. Proven SQE experience in manufacturing or envelope technolgies-related sectors. Knowledge of welding, fabrication, machining, and inspection methods. Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 3834, and PED compliance. Strong communication and auditing skills. UK driving licence and willingness to travel (~60%). Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, 8D, FMEA, and related tools
