We are seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join a well-established operational team delivering drainage inspection, maintenance, and repair works across a variety of sites. The role will suit someone hands-on, technically competent, and confident working independently on reactive and planned drainage tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out CCTV drainage surveys for condition assessment and fault identification
- Diagnosing and resolving blockages using high-pressure water jetting and mechanical methods
- Completing patch lining and small-scale lining repairs
- Undertaking drainage repairs, including excavations where required
- Producing clear and accurate CCTV survey reports
- Working safely in accordance with health & safety procedures
- Liaising with supervisors, clients, and other site operatives
- Operating drainage and CCTV equipment to a high standard
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Drainage Engineer
- Strong background in CCTV surveys and reporting
- Hands-on experience with patch lining, blockage clearance, and repairs
- Confident in fault finding and diagnosing drainage defects
- Good understanding of drainage systems (foul & surface water)
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
Qualifications (Desirable)
- NADC / WJA or equivalent drainage qualifications
- CSCS card
- Confined Space certification
- Full UK driving licence
