An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to join a well-established contractor delivering major highways and infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to an internal departure, the business is looking to secure a replacement at the earliest opportunity, with flexibility to engage on a short-term agency basis initially before transitioning into a permanent position.
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of works on large-scale highways projects, ensuring delivery is safe, efficient, and in line with programme and quality expectations.
- Supervising site teams and subcontractors on major highways schemes
- Coordinating daily site activities and short-term planning
- Ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Monitoring progress, quality, and productivity on site
- Maintaining accurate records and site documentation
- Supporting site management and liaising with key stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience working on large highways / infrastructure projects
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
- Valid CSCS Card
- First Aid Qualification
- Strong IT skills and ability to manage site documentation
- Full UK Driving Licence
