Planner Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planner to join a growing construction business, covering projects across Scotland. Current and upcoming works include major infrastructure projects such as the Forth Bridge (Edinburgh) and Tay Bridge Road (Dundee), with further schemes in the pipeline. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an overview of all aspects relating to planning and programming across multiple projects, while supporting Project Managers in developing methodologies and promoting best value design solutions. Key Responsibilities * Develop, monitor, and update project programmes to ensure accurate planning and delivery. * Support Project Managers with planning, programme management, and methodology development. * Assist in identifying best value design and construction solutions. * Provide accurate progress reports and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders. * Coordinate with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to maintain alignment on project timelines. * Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and contractual obligations. About You * Relevant construction or civil engineering qualifications (desirable). * Strong experience in site-based activities. * Proficient in planning software (ideally P6 Primavera). * Knowledge of design programme management. * Strong communication and team-working skills. * Ability to contribute to a positive project culture and collaborative delivery.
