The Opportunity
I’m working in partnership with a growing and highly respected specialist contractor based in Middleton, delivering complex mechanical and HVAC projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to take full ownership of high-value projects from pre-construction through to delivery. This is a key leadership role within the business — ideal for someone who wants autonomy, responsibility, and the chance to shape projects within a forward-thinking organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading mechanical & HVAC projects from inception to completion
- Managing multiple projects or a flagship scheme depending on size
- Overseeing programme, cost control, and risk management
- Leading site teams including Project Managers, Engineers & Supervisors
- Managing client relationships and acting as the key point of contact
- Driving quality, compliance, and health & safety standards
- Supporting pre-construction and tender stages where required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager within mechanical/HVAC
- Strong background delivering projects in sectors such as:
- Healthcare (desirable)
- Commercial / Industrial
- Cleanrooms / specialist environments (advantageous)
- Ability to manage full project lifecycle
- Strong commercial awareness and contractual understanding
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ideally based within commutable distance to Middleton
