The Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and specification of mechanical systems, including HVAC, ventilation, and public health services. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high–quality engineering solutions from concept through to completion. Your role will involve producing technical drawings, conducting site surveys, and ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and sustainability standards such as BREEAM.
The Candidate
- Experience in mechanical design within the building services sector.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and IES VE.
- A solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and CIBSE guidelines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Chartered status or working towards chartership with CIBSE or IMechE is desirable.
