We are currently working in partnership with a leading specialist civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager to join their Cathodic Protection delivery team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging infrastructure projects across the UK, contributing directly to the successful delivery of specialist structural repair and protection works.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality. You will play a key role in coordinating site teams, managing subcontractors, and maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall site management and leadership of project teams
- Ensuring full compliance with HSEQ requirements
- Managing programme, resources, and site logistics
- Overseeing specialist cathodic protection works
- Coordinating subcontractors and specialist suppliers
- Reporting progress and supporting commercial controls
- Maintaining a positive and productive site culture
About You
- Proven Cathodic Protection experience
- Background in Civil Engineering or infrastructure works
- Degree (or equivalent) in a civil engineering-related discipline
- Experience delivering infrastructure or structural repair projects
- Strong technical knowledge and project management capability
- Highly organised with excellent leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrable experience building and maintaining effective site teams
