An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy based in Manchester. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors including commercial, education, residential, retail, industrial and leisure. You will be joining an established Building Services team and will play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable electrical design solutions from concept through to completion.
The Role:
- Deliver electrical building services designs across all project stages.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, clients and fellow design consultants.
- Attend design and project meetings, providing technical expertise throughout.
- Ensure all designs comply with current regulations and industry standards.
- Support the development of sustainable and energy-efficient building solutions.
- Review technical submissions and undertake site inspections when required.
- Utilise industry-standard software including Revit, Amtech/Trimble and Dialux.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience within a Building Services consultancy environment.
- Strong electrical design experience across a variety of sectors.
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and contribute to project delivery.
