An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing and well-established business operating across civils, demolition, and haulage. Following the departure of a key senior figure, the business is now looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to take ownership of project delivery and play a key role in the continued growth of the business. This is a unique opportunity offering autonomy, flexibility, and the chance to shape and develop operational processes within a forward-thinking contractor.

This is an operationally focused position, centred around managing multiple projects, overseeing site teams, and ensuring successful delivery from pre-construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the delivery of multiple civils, demolition, and enabling works projects
  • Managing site teams including Site Managers, Supervisors, and subcontractors
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Working closely with the commercial team on cost control, variations, and reporting
  • Supporting tendering and pre-construction planning where required
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities
  • Driving programme performance and operational efficiency
  • Supporting business growth through client engagement and repeat work
