Bridgeman Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Highways Supervisor to support night shift operations on a major highways and civils project in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading civil engineering contractor working on live highways infrastructure works with immediate starts available.
The successful candidate will have previous experience supervising highways, street works, utilities, or civils operations within live site environments.
Key Responsibilities- Supervising highways and street works activities on site
- Managing operatives and subcontractors during night shifts
- Ensuring works comply with NRSWA and health & safety regulations
- Coordinating traffic management and safe systems of work
- Monitoring permits, signage, and site documentation
- Liaising with site management and local authorities
- Supporting programme delivery to ensure works are completed on time
- NRSWA Street Works Supervisor qualification essential
- Previous highways, civils, or utilities experience
- SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
- Valid CSCS Card
- Strong health & safety awareness
- Experience working on live highways projects and night shifts
