Bridge2Future Care Group are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team within a specialist EBD Children’s Residential Home in the Burton on Trent area. The role will require working shifts between the hours of 9.30am and 11pm. There will also be a requirement to sleep in the home overnight, for which you will finish work the next day at 10am and would receive a sleep-in supplement of £60 per shift for the hours between 11pm and 7am.

Our successful Residential Care Practitioner will need to possess the following skills and attributes:
- Possession of a Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards this
- Some relevant experience in working with Children and Young People that have social and emotional difficulties or behaviour that challenges.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Ability to work shifts and sleep in the home overnight
As a Residential Care Practitioner you will be responsible for a range of duties as set out below:
- Ensuring that our Young People receive the highest standard of support/care appropriate to their individual needs.
- Providing advice, assistance, and support to Young People, safeguarding their welfare at all times.
- Ensuring that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures
- Attending to Young People’s practical, physical, and emotional needs and acting as an appropriate role model.
- Working closely with Young People to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential.
- Completing written reports and documentation
- Supporting and being involved with the reviewing of Care plans, Risk Assessments, Behaviour Management Plans, Health Care Documentation, Agreements, and Incentives for the young people in the home.
