Technical Architect
The Bridge IT have partnered with a leading MSP to recruit a Technical Architect. Our client are currently undergoing a huge period of growth, and therefore are looking to expand their team.
The Role:
This is a key role in shaping, designing, and delivering complex technical solutions using modern methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end architecture of software solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving innovation, leading technical discussions, and mentoring developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver high-quality technical solutions that align with business and customer requirements.
- Own the architecture, implementation, and delivery of complex software solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, prioritise, and refine requirements.
- Lead and contribute to the technical design of solutions using Agile methodologies.
- Select the appropriate tools, technologies, and frameworks to ensure the best outcomes.
- Provide architectural input into High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD & LLD) , cost estimations, and documentation.
- Promote best practices in DevOps, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD) .
- Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and champion engineering excellence.
- Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in software development and delivering complex, enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong expertise in .NET and related frameworks (knowledge of front-end development is a plus).
- Deep understanding of Cloud-based architectures (preferably Azure).
- Proven track record in Agile/DevOps environments , with knowledge of CI/CD best practices.
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the confidence to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
In return, our client can offer up to £70,000 + 25 days annual leave and 10% pension contribution. This role also offers hybrid working 1-2 days per month in North Yorkshire. Please apply to hear more!
