We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to join our Platform team in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a hybrid role: three days each week in our City Centre Hub, two days working from home. We believe the best ideas spark when people connect. Our hub days are about collaboration, problem-solving, and creating the kind of shared understanding you can’t always get over a call. It’s where you’ll pair-program with teammates, unblock challenges quickly, and build relationships that make remote work more effective. Genuine “moments that count” — the interactions that sharpen ideas, drive momentum, and remind us we’re one global team.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll design, build, and maintain the frameworks and services that power our global products. You’ll be working at scale, shaping technology used daily by thousands of construction professionals worldwide. Expect ownership, variety, and the chance to influence the future of the platform.
This is what you’ll be doing:
- Developing full stack solutions using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL/REST.
- Building reusable frameworks and APIs that support multiple products.
- Creating scalable data models with PostgreSQL.
- Designing and supporting secure identity and authentication services.
- Applying DevOps practices, including test automation, CI/CD, and monitoring.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the UK, Lisbon, Sydney, and Stockholm.
- Contributing to code reviews, pair programming, and technical knowledge sharing.
- Playing a key role in agile delivery, ensuring progress is transparent and predictable.
About You:
You’ll bring commercial experience across the full stack — React, Node.js, TypeScript, and APIs — and be confident working with microservices and relational databases. You care about secure, scalable solutions and know how to make them real. You thrive in collaborative environments, share knowledge generously, and communicate clearly across global teams. You’ll value the energy of in-person collaboration as much as the focus of home working, making the most of our hub days to connect, learn, and solve problems faster together. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), CI/CD, or containerisation is a plus, but what matters most is your ability to own it and deliver quality.
What’s in it for you?
- Impact at scale: The frameworks you build will power products used across continents.
- Room to grow: Whether you want to deepen your craft, grow towards senior roles, or move into technical leadership, we’ll back your path.
- A quality-first culture: Pair programming, code reviews, and knowledge sharing are everyday practices here.
- A learning environment: From new tools to global collaboration, you’ll be challenged and supported to keep evolving.
