Bridge Veterinary Group is a thriving Small Animal practice located in Blackwood in Gwent, Wales. Blackwood is located close to the M4 and the A465 offering excellent road links to Cardiff, Newport, and the West Midlands which is perfect for easy commuting. Plus, you’ll be surrounded by stunning natural beauty, including the breathtaking Brecon Beacons right on our doorstep.
At Bridge Veterinary Group, you’ll join a dedicated, experienced team of 9 Vets and a reliable, skilled nursing team that works closely alongside vets to provide exceptional patient care. We manage a diverse and rewarding caseload, with most cases treated in‑house, so you’ll gain hands‑on experience across a wide range of conditions without constant referrals. We are a well established practice with fantastic facilities and equipment including digital X‑ray, endoscopes, ultrasound scanners, class IV laser, two operating theatres, dental treatment area, ECG, radiography and so much more ensuring you have everything you need to provide outstanding care.
You will work 40 hours per week. Our full‑time Vets work a 4‑day week between 9 am‑7 pm and 1:7 Saturday morning clinic. We do not work any OOH or bank holidays. You will be supported by our 2 experienced Clinical Directors, one of whom has a certificate in Medicine who work on the rota alongside our other Vets. This provides a good support network for our new graduates. We have previously supported graduates who have stayed at the practice following their academy period.
